What started as a shared obsession for racing became a vision much bigger than the brother’s. Backed by over eight years of professional motorsport experience, Ben & Scott are building more than a brand, they’re building a legacy driven by passion, performance, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
Built on generations of passion for motorsport, racing has always been more than a sport to Ben and Scott, it’s part of who they are. From rally stages to GT grids, their journey through motorsport has shaped a deep understanding of the industry, the culture, and the people within it. Inspired by a family legacy that began with their grandfather, they have turned that passion into a brand dedicated to authenticity, performance, and excellence. Every decision, every product and every step forward is driven by real experience, relentless ambition and a commitment to creating something that truly represents the spirit of motorsport.
Kaizen is more than a philosophy within MDD, it’s part of the foundation the team is built on. Rooted in the Japanese principle of continuous improvement, Kaizen represents the belief that success is achieved through constant refinement, attention to detail, and the relentless pursuit of progress in everything we do. At MDD, we believe that no improvement is too small. Every process, every challenge and every performance is an opportunity to learn, adapt, and become stronger as a team. Whether it’s in the workshop, at the circuit or behind the scenes, we are always searching for ways to improve efficiency, elevate standards and push ourselves forward. What makes Kaizen such an important part of our culture is that every voice matters. No matter their role within the team, every member is encouraged to contribute ideas, challenge limitations and take ownership of improvement. This creates an environment built on trust, collaboration and shared ambition, where growth becomes part of everyday life rather than a final destination. For MDD, Kaizen reflects our mindset both on and off the track. Never standing still, never settlin, and always striving to be better than we were yesterday.
At MDD Motorsport, we compete across some of the UK’s most competitive and respected one-make championships, providing a clear pathway for drivers at every stage of their development. From a first step out of karting to progressing into homologated GT machinery, our programmes combine professional driver preparation, engineering tuition, data analysis and 1-1 driver coaching with one goal: developing the next generation of professional racing drivers.
Racing isn’t just something we do, it’s who we are. From Scott and Bens earliest memories, the sound of engines and the smell of fuel have always been part of their world. Their passion for motorsport flows through every member of the team. We are driven by the relentless pursuit of perfection, from the human element to the scientific limits of the machine. Every single member of the team is on their own journey in this sport and we all share the same thing in common and that is to win.
Brothers Scott and Ben McKenna have quickly made their mark in UK motorsport, becoming two of the youngest team principals in the sport while bringing a unique blend of racing experience, leadership, and family legacy. Scott, 23, combines a lifetime of driving with three years of team management, while Ben, 21, has already earned recognition as the youngest team principal in the country.
United by their passion for competition, resilience, and continuous improvement, they share a vision to build one of the most respected teams in global motorsport, inspiring the next generation along the way.
